Hand Knitted Merino Wool Sweater

Handmade with love on Vancouver Island, this sweater keeps us cozy on those chilly nights by the Pacific Ocean. We found the wool to keep us warmer than any other sweaters, including icelandic ones and is definitely the warmest sweater we've ever owned.
The sweater is slightly cropped, with a 3/4 sleeve that has a generous opening at the cuff, so you can layer a longer sleeve underneath if you like. This is a versatile sweater, that looks great with jeans or slacks, as well as layered over your favourite dress to keep the chill off in the evening.
Made from a sumptuous Merino Wool from Canadian yarn company, Sugar Bush Yarns, that employs ethical and sustainable practices, so you can rest assured that your purchase has been made from the finest materials. The sweater is so soft, and will only soften further with wear, as the wool will bloom a little over time.
Because this sweater is made from gorgeous, soft, non-itchy Merino Wool, extra care is needed to ensure it remains in tip top shape. I recommend that your garment is folded when not in use. Natural fibres can pill with wear, which is a natural process and not to be feared! To keep your sweater looking great, you can use scissors or a wool shaver to remove any unwanted fluff.
